Promoting Patriotism
- Support active-duty service members with donations of care packages
- Support Wreaths Across America
- Participated in the 9/11 Memorial Walk and the Duck Town Fourth of July parade
- Cheered the U.S. Air Force Cycling Team as they headed from the Wright Memorial on a four-day journey to Washington, DC.
- Presented the Constitution Week Proclamation to the Dare County Board of Commissioners
- Decorated educational displays at libraries for Constitution Week
- Donated clothing and blankets to veterans at the Veterans Administration Wilmington Healthcare System
Chapter Participated in the Duck Town Fourth of July Parade
Historic Preservation
- Commemorate the Battle of Moores Creek Bridge
- Support the National Society for the Preservation of NSDAR buildings
- Attended the reenactment of the Battle of Great Bridge
- Met with members of the Outer Banks Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary to celebrate Constitution Week with a Bells Across America Ceremony
- Donate to the Lost Colony Museum and the Croatoan Archeological Society
- Donate and volunteer for “The Wall That Heals” exhibit in Nags Head

Education
- Support Crossnore Communities for Children
- Sponsor the DAR Good Citizens Award and Scholarship Contest for high school seniors at Currituck High School
- Sponsor Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) Award each year to a cadet attending Currituck High School
- Sponsor a teacher with funds from the Helen Pouch Memorial Fund Classroom Grant
- Present fourth-grade elementary school students with informational packets about the U.S. Constitution
- Donate classroom supplies to local schools
